Outline:

In the second half of the autumn term 2005 participating classes will use the new Infomapper GIS system to carry out geographical (or cross-curricular) investigations. Precise focus to be decided. Further information about this will be sent to subscribing schools.

The new Infomapper GIS system provides online access to OS maps and aerial photographs of most of the south and east of England (from school only). See page about Infomapper for further details.

Support and Training:

Hands-on briefing sessions for school staff participating in the project will be held in the previous half-term on the following dates/times/locations.
