| Outline:
Running throughout the
autumn term 2005, participating classes can contribute items
to a Cambridgeshire - Making the News website. The theme will
centre around a local event or issue. Ideal
for those schools that would like to take part in a newspaper activity
with a difference. Participation can be over the term or focused
into
a one or two day event.
Suitable for:
Any age range or level of ability.
Tools available:
The Making the
News website allows children to post text, audio or video articles.
All audio and video recording can be done directly on the internet using
a webcam or microphone.
Outcomes:
Once approved, all articles are visible on the web and
can be searched and browsed.
