Outline:
In the first half of the
summer term 2006 participating classes across the county will look
for signs of the changing seasons and enter their observations into an
online database that will build up a picture of what is happening across
the county.
Suitable for:
Aimed at nursery and infant classes,
though older children may also complete the questionnaire.
Tools available:
A section of the Starz website will explain what children
need to look for. When they spot one of the indicators they can record
it using the new online questionnaire tool.
Outcomes:
Results of the survey will be posted for all participants
to view (as graphs etc). Classes may download all the results to analyse
themselves if they wish.
The results may also be fed into the national survey
undertaken each year by the Woodland Trust.
