Outline:
In the first half of the
spring term 2006 participating classes across the county will be
organised into groups of 4. Story frameworks will be provided. Each class
will start a story and record it (in writing, audio or video). They will
then send it electronically to the next class in the circle, who will
add a second chapter before passing it round again. After 4 weeks the
completed story will arrive back at its starting point.
Suitable for:
Aimed at nursery and infant classes,
though KS2 classes may participate provided there is sufficient interest
to create a circle.
Tools available:
The stories may be written or recorded using the webmail
audio and video tools. They will be stored in the new 'gallery' system.
Circles may decide to allow pupils involved from their schools to post
comments about the stories. See 'galleries'
page for more information.
Outcomes:
At the end of the project all the stories will be made
available for reading/listening/viewing by all the participating schools.
