Background
The Regional Broadband Consortium Group (RBC) - of which
E2BN is a member - has negotiated an agreement with the award-winning
film and television music company Audio Network Plc. The deal gives all
English Broadband schools free access to high quality music for use in
film and multi-media projects. These industry-standard audio files can
be edited and re-purposed through the Audio Network Schools Licence and
are available to all RBC schools across the National Education Network
free of charge. The agreement is designed to overcome the many problems
being experienced by schools undertaking audio-visual projects and particularly
to allow schools access to music resources without the fear of copyright
infringement. The current Audio Network Licence runs till 30 June 2007.
