POLICE have pledged to clamp down on parents who park dangerously outside primary schools in South Cambridgeshire.
Officers have identified Bassingbourn, Meldreth and Melbourn as hotspots and fear a child could be knocked down if the problem is not solved.
They have asked headteachers to send letters to parents and carers, asking them to clean up their act, but have also pledged to patrol at dropping off and picking up times to deal with offenders.
