These were colourful packs of postcards designed to provide a powerful, attractive and flexible classroom resource. They have been reproduced here as A4 colour images with 16 images per pack. Bakards are colourful packs of photographs produced by Lyndon Baker and Rob Howard to cover the whole curriculum and encourage pupils of all ages and abilities to explore different ways of looking at a variety of environments at different levels, developing their visual awareness. Each pack presents a range of challenging starting points from which to progress. Translating from 2D into 3D, enlarging or selecting small areas to work from all offer a further range of experiences that will excite children and will lead to imaginative end pieces.

Each theme contains a section that outlines its potential breadth across the Art curriculum through Drawing, Painting, 3D, Textiles, Printmaking, Looking and Talking, etc. This is followed by specific key stage developments and exemplars of work.
