NASUWT/BT Paralympic World Cup Events
Free tickets for schools!
From 25th-31st May 2010 the BT Paralympic World Cup will return to two Manchester venues bringing over 400 of the world’s top athletes to compete in a multisport event showcasing five sports. Apply for up to 25 tickets for each event which can be used for pupils, teachers and guardians alike.
When you reach the online application you will need to enter the promotional code: SCHTK

Schools with the most entries have a chance to have a BT PWC athlete visit their school.

02/02/10 - High Quality Teaching and Learning course at Bluntisham Village Hall has been cancelled due to low attendance.
There has recently been some media coverage of minibus driving qualifications. This may have lead some to believe that there has been a change in the guidance. At present there is no change to the County Council requirements to drive a minibus, something that must be adhered to if you are Local Authority school. The British Heart Foundation Active School Pack has recently been updated, providing a resource full of practical ideas to help improve physical activity provision and promote physical activity within the curriculum and beyond. There are nine sections such as policy, active travel, lunchtimes, OSHL and involving partents, and over 100 activity cards. There is also additional materials for teachers available to download from the website. The resource can be accessed by 'phoning 0870 600 6566 or visit www.bhf.org.uk/publications and is available for a donation to The British Heart Foundation.
