Year 5 Maths Challenge 2010

Preparations for the Year 5 Mathematics Challenge are well under way and many schools have once again offered to host the heats.  If you've never entered a team, please have a go this year.  Schools can enter a team of four pupils and they work together to solve puzzles and answer a wide range of questions.  It is a really good opportunity for your enthusiastic Year 5 children and it is great for promoting mathematical talk.  Heats take place during the first half of the summer term, with the final event in July.  Further information and sample questions can be found by clicking on the link above.  Please click here for details of dates and venues.
