Free Schools Purchasing Healthcheck
Too good to be true?

We at the Purchasing Advisory Service for Schools (PASS) often advise schools that when an offer appears too good to be true then it usually is.
One exception to this rule is the free Purchasing Healthcheck that we offer to all schools.
The Healthchecks are a simple process in which we assess whether there are any savings or efficencies that can be made, all of which is absolutely free of charge.
Our only incentive is the satisfaction we glean from saving your school money along with the knowledge that any savings can be reallocated back into the school. Simply put, it is our job to try and assist you in all matters relating to procurement and contract management and we are therefore keen to help reduce you outgoings at any opportunity.
The process for receiving a Purchasing Healthcheck is a relatively simple one.
- You register your interest in receiving a Healthcheck by contacting PASS through any of the means detailed to the right.
- We email you a Healthcheck spreadsheet to complete and return.
- Upon receipt of your completed Healthcheck spreadsheet we look at the information you have supplied and look to see where/if any savings can be made. We then contact you to arrange a meeting to go through the form and gather any relevant documents (contracts/invoices etc)
- We take the relevant information away and try to source other providers with preferable contract rates and/or conditions. We then organise a meeting with you to present our findings and offer advice as to where you can reduce your expenditure.
It really is that simple.
In the past Purchasing Healthchecks have discovered significant cashable savings for a number of schools.
If you have not had a Healthcheck, or it has been some time since you were last assessed then please contact Chris Goody at PASS for further information. Please be aware that the process can take a little while so if we have a deluge of schools registering an interest there may be a short waiting period.
