Lady Olivia Bernard Sparrow lived at Brampton Park.

She was religious and interested in the welfare of the

Her name is still known in Brampton because there

is an Olivia Bernard Sparrow Education Foundation

which gives money to young people from the Village

to help them pay for further education.

Also there are roads named after her -

Bernard Road, Olivia Road and Sparrow Close.

This photo shows the Bernard Road sign

in front of an OBS cottage.
